Today we worked on a group activity. If you did not finish during class, it can be completed outside of class and turned in on Monday. Be sure to turn in one (AND ONLY ONE) paper per group, and be sure everyone's name is on the paper.
The quiz on Monday will cover all of the WAMAP assignments (except #7 & #8 on Asmt Wk 1 #1).
Finally, start reading chapters 1-3 of the Golden Ratio. This is the material we will start next week. There will be an online reading assignment on these chapters over the next few days.

ReplyDeleteI'm about to get REALLY irritated! For Asmt. 3, Prob. 5 it asks for the Borda Count for A, w/1st place getting 1 point. So, I took:
(the # of 1st place votes x 1) + (the # of 2nd place votes x 0) + (the # of 3rd place votes x -1) = the 'answer.'
Except, that wasn't the right answer. Then, I tried finding the overall rankings; i.e., if A=-34, B=-3, and C=-12, then A came in 3rd. That didn't work, either. WHAT IS GOING ON, and WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?
